Central Elementary School Web Site

Built in 1953, Central Elementary is the oldest of the elementary buildings. Over the years, a gymnasium and media center were added bringing the total footage to 55,460 sq. ft. Central is situated within the city near the Junior High School on 25 acres of land. The football stadium is located on the back portion of the property.

Mission Statement

We, the staff of Central Elementary, believe that the primary goal of our school is teaching and learning. We will create an environment conducive to the academic, social, and emotional growth of every child. We will set up a safe and orderly environment with rules understood and enforced by the entire support network. We believe that, through the combined efforts of the total school personnel, the community and parents, all students will work toward their maximum potential.
